| Keyboarding 1 (Course ID: 31300 Duration: One Semester) | |
| Top | This course provides students with an introductory knowledge of keyboard, key placement and an accelerated typing speed. Using keyboarding software and workbooks, students will learn each letter, number, and punctuation marks individually then work to combine all three to create letters, short research papers, memorandums, and tables. In addition to document creation, the course teaches typing rules such as capitalization, spacing, and proofreading marks. With weekly timed tests, students improve accuracy and speed while practicing correct finger placement and posture. |
