It will also explore techniques for Internet research and its proper usage. Students who wish to enroll in Software Applications are strongly recommended to have taken a typing course due to the exercises associated with each new application. Exercises assigned in Software Applications can be overwhelming without basic knowledge of keyboard keys. This course gives students an opportunity to do all of the following: design a personal resume, format research papers, produce tables in word and Excel, create PowerPoint presentations, manipulate spreadsheets and databases for final records or organization of birthdays, phone numbers, email addresses, and efficient research methods on the Internet. |
